Emmanuel and St. Chad
Doctor of Ministry in Contextual & Practical Theology: Offered by the Saskatoon Theological Union (STU) (which includes the Anglican College of Emmanuel & St. Chad), this DMin program is a cohort-based program for those who wish to complete a graduate degree without having to relocate. Students in the cohort will begin the program by spending ten days being oriented and beginning to learn together Saskatoon in September 2023. The remainder of the three year program will be offered using a hybrid format of in-person and online learning. Students will be encouraged to come to Saskatoon on other occasions during the course of their studies for intensive five-day learning opportunities. Centre for Christian Studies
The Leadership Development Module is a 2-week intensive course, offered twice per year, usually in June and in August. Each year one LDM is held in Winnipeg and one somewhere else in Canada. The LDM can be taken as a stand-alone course or as the introduction to the CCS Diploma Program or 1-year Certificate Program. (It is a prerequisite for all other CCS programs.)
Toronto School of Theology
The Doctor of Ministry is a professional degree, for those primarily seeking to integrate advanced theological study with the practice of ministry. Students must have a first degree in theology and will have spent at least five years in professional ministry. It is taught in a collaborative and ecumenical context and requires a thesis.
Wycliffe College
Continuing education courses can be taken as stand-alone courses or as part of a Certificate in Faith-Based Community Development. These courses will guide students in developing new skills to help their faith group, church, or religious NGO navigate, design, and implement transformative change.
Saint Paul
Graduate Diploma in Contemplative Theology and Spiritual Mentorship is intended for students in theology who have taken basic courses in spirituality and wish to deepen their knowledge in this area, and for students in counselling and spirituality or for professionals in psychology who wish to deepen the spiritual dimension. The program consists of five courses offered on campus in a single year: two courses each in the Fall and Winter, in a weekend format, and a two-week intensive in May. The program cohort is limited to fifteen people in order to assure group discussion and learning in a seminar format.
