Jack Warren Langford (1928-1999) received a B.A. in 1952 and L.Th. in 1953 from the University of Western Ontario. He was ordained deacon in 1953 and priest in 1954. He was curate of St. George, Sarnia from 1953-1954; Incumbent of Christ’s Church, Sarnia, 1954-1958; Rector St. Mark’s, Sarnia 1958-1962. He moved to Fredericksburg,Texas 1963-1966; Austin, Texas, 1966-1982; Sealy, Texas, 1982-1989. Retired in 1989.
Fonds consists of a typescript paper (30 p.) entitled, From Kangra to Amritsar, covering the history of the Kangra Mission of the M.S.C.C., India and its schools, hospitals, the Women’s Auxilary in Punjab and descriptions of various places and cities in the mission, including Amritsar, Kashmir.
